The association "Games & XR Mitteldeutschland" was founded with the goal of establishing Central Germany as a hotspot for innovative technologies and companies in the technological business sector of games, games-related and XR applicationsTo this end, the association works closely with its members from Saxony, Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt and participant from outside the game industry like business and politics. The association is supported by the city of Leipzig especially her Office for Economic Development. Further, is the Mitteldeutsche Medien Förderung an important partner.
