About the company: ThinkingStars studio

We are a game dev team based in Beijing and have been in business since late 2017.
We are mostly Chinese, coming from a wide variety of different provinces in China, and also have a Japanese and a European member. We are big fans of retro games, which is something we bring to the table in ANNO: Mutationem.

We hope our first game can make something of an impact, by which we mean not any kind of stellar result or awards, but just in having players play our game, experience it and after finishing it has changed a little, just as all of us were changed by all those games that we enjoyed, that shaped us and that showed us the way.

This will be the first game of our studio, and is necessary because of this reason special, but not just because of it being the first. It’s also a way for us to show what cool games can come from totally different parts of the world, and in a way showing that gaming culture is an international one, gamers belonging to the same tribe no matter what their passports say.
